Misora Nakamori

Tokyo-born MISORA NAKAMORI studied fashion at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and pursued her further exploration at the postgraduates of Central Saint Martins and RCA in London. She has been known in public by one of the world’s fashion icons, Lady Gaga, when she appeared in the media wearing pieces from her collection. MISORA develops its sense of hybrid in exquisite combination of technology and artisanal craftsmanship.

She launched her brans in Paris in 2019. She works in the collaboration with Japanese weaver, former Kimono textile producer, for its unique and stimulating textile with their privileged jacquard technique. Her mixed backbone accelerated her to communicate and suggest the state of individuals through its modern and futuristic creation. The history of collections is rooted in her life and involves adepts of the modern generation. The application of various materials represents the strong image of her world and the delicate creativity with its sophisticated cuts is always appreciated by viewers, the designer dyes distress and mix old and new materials to take the garments to a higher level while remaining sustainable and ethical.
